An excellent value for money, underratted, yet immaculately made Barsac. Doisy-Daene does not possess the lusciously sweet character of other, more expensive Sauternes/Barscac wines.  It compensates with its rich, vivid fruitiness, well-supported by a remarkably fresh, harmonious acidity. And it can be approached at a much younger stage.
