Gusboune’s sparkling rosé (de facto although not de titulos) 2010 is a fine blend of 39% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 21% Pinot Meunier. The proximity of the coast ensured a milder autumn in 2010 than elsewhere and more than satisfactory ripening. Red wine is added, as with most Rosé Champagne and the wine marries red fruit flavours, with a fine mousse and an elegant sherbet finish.

Excellent with strawberries and summer pudding, or, per Gusbourne, with sorbet and tarte tatin. Good matches one and all!
