The Savigny Blanc Planchots Guyon is a wonderful example of aged white Burgundy, made from old vines on the sandy gravel soils of Savigny-lès-Beaune. Notes of peach, almond and hazelnut combine with a touch of acacia honey and a salty tang to deliver a wine of generosity and freshness. This would be equally at home as an aperitif with charcuterie, or as an accompaniment to the cheeseboard.
